Default Sculptors of current Eldar minis

    Hi.

I first thought of asking in general section, since its not entirely a 40k-question (or rather the answer is not).
    However.

Does anybody know which minis of the currently available Eldar range (including vehicles) are sculpted by who? If so, I'd like to get to know about it.

    Greetings

The Harlequins are from Jes Goodwin.

According to the 1994 original Eldar Codex all of the Eldar minis in the back of the book were designed by Jes. Those that are still current are all of the Phoenix Lords, the Avatar, Eldrad Ulthran, most of the Warlocks and the Warp Spiders. Looking at www.solegends.com it appears that the Wraithguard and jetbikes are also designed by Jes. Boy he had a busy time back then.

Referencing the current Codex the designers are listed as Tim Adcock, Juan Diaz, Martin Footitt, Jes Goodwin & Mark Harrison; but it doesn't state who did what.
What you leave behind is not what is written on your tombstone but what is written in the heart of others.

    Yea, that's what I knew already ^^
God bless Jes Goodwin. His designs, sketches and minis had been always the best if you ask me.
Juan Diaz messed up the MKII-versions of the aspect-warriors in the 3rd Edition (especially Striking Skorpions) if I remember correctly, thats why I'm interested who did the more or less good versions of the latest guardians, the walker and aspect-warriors. The wraithlord is kinda anime, don't like it too much, although I get used to it.
Too bad, I really would like to know who did what.
(I do have all the eldar codices, the eldar collectors book and even the eldar legends catalogue, so I know about the old minis)

Gosh, I'm gonna make a call to Nottingham, if nobody will know :P

I found out about the Guardians. They are made by Mike McVey and Jes Goodwin.

Juan Diaz didnt make the striking scorpions, Gary Morley did and my god they where horrible. I think Diaz did the fire dragons, but i´m not sure..

Ah, ok. I was wondering all the time, because Diaz normally makes fairly good stuff. Thanks.

Which ones? I had some back in 2001, and while I liked the look, they wouldn't stay up if you offered them money and ambrosia (or whatever libation it is that space elves prefer). I ended up putting them on termi bases, and did not think that was a good solution.
You see, fate is like a cat. Sometimes it is nice, and lets you pet it, and it sits in your lap. Sometimes it does not care at all and just wanders around ignoring you. Sometimes it farts in your face, scratches you, then coughs up a hairball on your carpet that you have to pick up.

First/Classic ones [Jes Goodwin] - arround 1990 - I still think these are the best and most detailed ones

Second [Gary Morley] - around 2000 - totally messed up if you ask me

Current ones [?] - arround 2004 (?) - fair for plastic casting, but not really many details

Did Morley also do the MKII-Eldar-Banshees? They also had been messy and very Dark-Eldar-like - Morley did make various Dark Eldar, that's what I know for sure.

I kinda liked the MkII Eldar Banshees. They looked more elegant.
